Joanne Freeman is a member of New Voices Playwrights. Her plays produced in Southern California include: “Get Me to the Church on Time” (STAGEStheatre, Fullerton, CA, 2006); “Detour to the Déjà vu Café” (Gallery Theatre, Anaheim, CA, 2007); “Spiritual Entitlement” (Cabrillo Playhouse, San Clemente, CA, 2008; staged reading at the Empire Theatre, 2008); “Night Visitor,” “ATM Santa” and “Peace on Earth” (all produced at the Empire Theatre, Santa Ana, CA, 2009, 2010, 2011, respectively). “Get Me to the Church on Time” and “Detour to the Déjà vu Café” were also produced Off-Broadway at the Beckman Theatre at the American Theatre of Actors in 2009.
